Santa Barbara County Chardonnay

Varietal

Chardonnay

American Viniculture Area (AVA)

Santa Barbara County

Vineyards

Santa Barbara County's mild marine climate and dramatic hillside create an ideal environment for growing Chardonnay grapes with high flavor intensity balanced by crisp acidity.

Winemaking

The wine's treatment with wood was very light. It was fermented in older oak barrels to soften the grape acids and given partial malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes

Begins with bright aromas of pineapple and lemon zest. Forward tropical fruit flavors greet the palate and are highlighted by notes of vanilla and hints of spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and luscious and the wine finishes clean and refreshing.

Awards & Accolades
